With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

HISTORY
Maeve had a troubled childhood. Her parents were both zealously religious, her father being a preacher and her mother forever the dutiful wife. When Maeve's magical abilities started to emerge her parents were terrified and entirely certain that she was possessed by a demon. Despite their efforts, were painful and unkind, the magic never left her. When her parents decided that they needed some space between her and them they sent her to live with her uncle through the summer. Maeve lost a lot of things that summer. Her hope. Her innocence. What was left of her sanity. Back at home, her parents were about to send her to a church-run insane asylum, but Maeve had had more than enough. Her mother and father were the first people she had killed, but it was truly unintentional.
She spent her school years in and out of the orphanage. To say she was 'troubled' was an understatement. She hurt people when she could. Never animals, though. That was a trope she never lived up to. She loves animals. She likes people too, sometimes. When she was fresh out of school she had a girlfriend who was a werewolf and made Maeve curious about everything she was missing out on as a human and so she decided to let her girlfriend turn her into a werewolf. From there it didn't take long for Maeve to find her pack and her place in it. Her girlfriend didn't survive to join the pack with Maeve. She really didn't want to kill her significant other, but she was getting too clingy. Maeve always makes it clear to her lovers that she's not the monogamous type and trying to force that on her can have dire consequences. Maeve, despite being an orphan, is perfectly happy in her new life. She has a new family, her talents are put to good use, and most importantly, no one treats her like she's crazy...at least not if they know what's good for them.
It wasn't uncommon for Persie to spend her holidays with a few friends and Hades. This time it was different, however. This time it was just one friend with her. Some of her roommates talked her into setting it up so that it would just be hear and Emil alone on her big boat adrift off the shore of Greece. There were benefits to having loaded parents that trusted her unconditionally. Granted, they wouldn't have trusted her so much if they knew that the friend she was taking to Greece with her was a boy, but what they didn't know wouldn't kill them. Maybe she'd grow the nerve to tell him that she fancied him, but something told her that she probably wouldn't.
She wasn't sure where Emil was, but he couldn't have gotten too far off. From the helm, she could see that the deck was empty, so he was probably below deck. Not that he was missing out on much. She was just looking for a good place to put down the anchors. That didn't take much longer.
With Hades anchored and his sails coiled down, she was free to enjoy the sun and the vibrant blue waters. All she was missing was her company. "Emil!" she called out. "Get your arse over here. We're anchored, and I have wine!" She heaved a sigh as she plopped down on one of her padded lounge chairs and poured herself a glass. She loved Greece. She didn't know why she went anywhere else.
