With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

A rumour. A rumour had spread through the whole goddamn school, and Matheus wasn't sure where the hell it came from but man, he definitely felt guilty. People gossiping about him were fine, that was to be expected given his reputation of sleeping around and breaking hearts, but now people would think that Leo Jordan was something he wasn't. All because Matheus had kissed him. It was all his fault.
Swinging open the door to the dormitories, Matheus gave a quick cursory glance to make sure that the room was empty before heading over and sitting on the edge of Leo's bed. He needed to talk to him and apologise. He just hoped he showed up before the rest of their roommates so they could have a chat alone.
It had been difficult but Leo had managed well enough for a few days to try and avoid Matheus as much as possible. He'd been coming back to the dormitory either late at night or especially early so he could draw the curtains around his bed and pretend he was sleeping when the other boy entered. And Matheus had been nice enough not to force his company on him.
However, after the first shock of that kiss had worn off, Leo had started taking long walks out in the grounds, talking to himself, asking himself how all of this could have happened. How could he have missed all of this? He was a great quidditch player, skilled and disciplined, he had quite good marks in all of his classes, he had friends around him. How could it have happened that he was about to graduate in a few months and never have kissed a girl. Or anyone for that matter? Well, the question was answered easily enough. Because he'd been waiting for Ryker. But he also had to admit that in the meantime, she had not waited, she had not slowed down one bit. He wasn't sure if anything would ever happen between him and Ryker apart from misunderstandings and longing looks on his part. And now suddenly Matheus had taken it in his own hands to move Leo along, it seemed. In but a few seconds he had caused cracks to appear in Leo's view of his world and his life.
Matheus' actions and a few days of time to think had been enough for Leo to want to turn his life around. Get a move on. He'd done enough waiting for a lifetime. He had to get a move on now before he got old. But he needed help and he needed practice. And the first person he could think of for that was Matheus himself. It had already been plenty awkward a few days ago, so why not just put everything out there in front of the guy. It could hardly get any worse. And Matheus had looked ashamed enough that Leo didn't doubt his good intentions.
The Gryffindor had taken a whole turn around the lake rehearsing what he would say to his dorm mate when he saw him. He was ready and he was prepared. Steeling himself he entered the Gryffindor common room. He would simply ask the other boy for a word alone, that was all. But he wasn't in the common room. Breathing out and gathering all his resolve again, he walked upstairs to their dormitory. He had to be there. It was almost curfew.
He all but yanked the door open, closed it, then turned and saw Matheus sitting there on his bed. Again Leo took a deep breath, then began speaking very fast. "I'm sorry that I didn't catch on faster the other day. I wasn't thinking clearly. It was perfectly natural that you kissed me and I shouldn't have run away afterwards, because that's not what Gryffindors do. I should've talked to you sooner and I'm sorry. But the whole thing made me realize that I don't actually know much about kissing and all that stuff, but you do. So I guess what I'm asking is, can you teach me?" he brought out without drawing breath. He was standing in the middle of the dormitory, looking straight at Matheus, his hands fidgeting at his sides, waiting nervously for a reaction.

The sound of the door being yanked open was enough to make Matheus jump a little because shit, that sounded angry. It reminded him of the way his little brother, Nicolas, handled doors when Matheus beat him in a bout of wrestling then crowed about it afterwards, flexing his muscles at their little sister and bragging about being the 'strongest man in the Delgado house.' It made him anticipate yelling at any given moment now, though he doubted Leo would be shouting and calling him a 'POOPHEAD WITH HAIR LIKE A MOP,' demanding a rematch or else.
But then Leo surprised him because as soon as he opened his mouth, he was yelling, but instead babbling as fast as anything and... apologising? Wait, why was he apologising? "Nah, man. It's... shit, you're not the one in the wrong here, I am. I shouldn't have been such a douche and thought that you were coming onto me. I mean, it's been six years of sharing a dorm. I know I grew even sexier over the holidays, but why would you hit on me now?" Despite the utter ridiculousness of his words, Matheus looked truly sorry for his actions, regret written all over his face. "Plus, I probably freaked you out. Figured out pretty quick you've never kissed a guy, huh?"
The next words Leo said, however, hit him like a ton of bricks. Matheus' eyes widened, completely caught off guard. This was... well, unexpected, especially given that Leo had run away last time Matheus' lips had touched his own. But now he was asking as sincerely as anything and looking Matheus dead in the eye, his hands fidgeting by his sides. He looked so nervous, and Matheus didn't have it in him to make him wait. "I, uh... look, we can try kissing and shit. I mean, I can teach you everything I know - and I know a lot - but..." Merlin, was he about to ruin this? Maybe. But he needed to get out his own apology, let Leo know why he was feeling guilty besides kissing him. "I think you should, uh, know that... shit, man. I think I really screwed up. After you left, I told someone what had happened because I wasn't sure if you were having a meltdown or not, and now... I dunno, I only told one person but now the whole school thinks you and me got it on and now you'vegottenfirecrabsfromme. I'm so sorry, Leo."
Leo blinked in surprise for a moment at the 'confession' that Matheus had gotten sexier over the summer. What a strange thing to say. But he was apologising too and Leo felt slightly better about the whole situation. If Matheus had been just as uncomfortable, it might not turn out quite as bad as he feared. "Or anyone for that matter," he mumbled, scratching his neck awkwardly when Matheus commented on him never having kissed a guy before. It was mostly what had brought him back here after all. He wondered how the other would react once he understood how bad it actually was and a lump was forming in his throat because of it.
The Gryffindor felt indefinitely relieved when Matheus agreed to teach him. Not awkward at all. And it seemed that the other didn't find it a strange request either. It really couldn't have gone any better in Leo's opinion. But his eyebrows rose in confusion at the story that followed. "Firecrabs?" he repeated, "What would I do with those? Mat, what's going on?" he asked, unable to make any connection to what his friend had said and why he was apologizing. Confused he approached the bed and sat down next to Matheus.

The words that came tumbling from Leo's mouth next had Matheus staring for a bit too longer because he, Leo Jordan, had never kissed a single soul? That was unbelievable almost. The dude was a Quidditch legend, almost as good as Matheus himself (okay, maybe even better) and was built. "Uh... well," Matheus said, pausing for a moment and taking it in. Then a slow grin slid onto his lips and he gave Leo a shameless wink, thick eyebrows wriggling. "A virgin. I can work with that. Means I can show you the right thing to do from the get go. First things first, no teeth."
Leo's response wasn't quite what he expected - again, Matheus was anticipating a punch but... no? It never came and instead, Leo was sitting beside him. "Firecrabs? Uh... well, you'd itch with those," Matheus muttered, though he wasn't an idiot. He wasn't silly, he wrapped his - "Dude, do you seriously not know? Someone... told another person what happened. Er, cause I told them. So now everyone thinks we're Bert and Ernie and do more than share a dorm." Then, realising that was a muggle reference and not everyone grew up in the muggle world like himself, Matheus cleared his throat. Blunt seemed to be the best course of option. "Uh... people reckon we banged and you cried and I gave you an STI. Just for the record, I have made people cry after sex. In pure delight. Because I'm that good and they got to experience a serious rockin' of their world." Despite the subject at hand and the fact that Leo very well may have been pissed at him, Matheus was an opportunity take and he shot Leo a cheeky grin. "Maybe you'll get to find out later."
Leo pressed his lips together at the response he got for not having kissed anyone before and the grin that appeared on Matheus' face made him want to vanish on the spot. "Go on then, make fun of me. Can't believe it myself, really. Pretty laughable," he commented in a sad voice when Matheus started planning what he'd do with a virgin. That just made it all sound so much worse. He rubbed his face with his hand, trying to shake the embarrassement. This definitely wasn't easy.
So fire crabs itched? That was the information he got? Then why would he get them? "Uhm, so...?" he prompted, waiting for some actual explanation. The explanation he got was still not very much for him to clear anything up. "Dude, what're you on about?" he asked, slowly getting impatient. He was getting seriously lost between fire crabs and whatever Ernie and Bert was.
However, when he did get the explanation, he wasn't sure he had needed to hear it after all. He rather wished he hadn't. It took him a moment to process the story and Matheus' confidence. That was a lot to take in. Leo blinked. "Right," he commented dryly, mostly to cover up his embarrassement of Matheus mentioning having made people cry after sex. People, as in plural. But especially at the promise that the same might happen to him. Leo was sure that his face must be burning just about then. "So people think we... together..." he gestured vaguely, trying to stay calm. People thought he was doing things with Matheus?! Whoever would've gotten that idea? The Gryffindor took a deep breath. The whole school thought that he was with Matheus? - Ryker! - Ryker would hear the rumour. The last person he wanted to think that he liked guys that way. Or anyone else but her even. He slumped and dropped his face in his hands. "Fuck," he breathed and shook his head. "What do we do now?" he asked, close to panicking.

The response that Matheus garnered from Leo was... not what he had wanted to happen and frowning, Matheus shook his head before moving a hand to grab Leo's wrist. "I think it's hot," he told him with all honestly, tugging Leo's hand away from his face and making sure the other boy met his eyes so he could see how dead serious Matheus was being. "Get to be your first snog, your first... for other things too, if you want. But man, you can say stop whenever you want. We don't have to do anything you don't want to do. That's not what gets my rocks off. It's you enjoying yourself... and like I said... I want you to enjoy yourself plenty because I know will be, querido."
Leo was staring at him expectedly again, looking like a lost bloody puppy as Matheus explained what firecrabs were and... "Uh, they make you... itch. Down on your little... linguiça. Or... maybe your big linguiça. If you're lucky." Matheus punctuated his words with a cheeky little wink and a glance downwards at the front of Leo's pants, trying to tell him all about firecrabs as light-heartedly as possible not to worry him.
"Uh... well, I dunno if they think we're together cause everyone knows I don't date but they definitely think you got a big hunk of this Brazilian beefcake," Matheus said with a shrug, like Brazilian beefcake was a phrase he used every day (spoiler alert: it was, especially when he flexed his fine behind in the mirror everyday).
But then Leo's breath seen to pick up pace and the boy seemed to be steadily freaking the hell out, asking what they do next and Matheus wondered if... perhaps he should be freaking out this bad too. He was used to rumours about himself... maybe that's why he wasn't. "Well... uh. There's kinda not much you can do except take it on the chin and bear it. That's what I had to do in third year when that rumour had spread about me sleeping with that twenty-three year old," Matheus said, shrugging. Though... that one had actually been true.
It was as if Leo had convinced himself to jump in at the deep end, opening up about this incredibly embarrassing topic, but now there was nothing for it but to try and swim. Still it sounded so very vulgar to his ears, hearing Mat say all of these things. "Mat, you don't get it!" he stopped the other "I don't even know what I want. It's all easy enough for you to say. But I've not... I've never... how would I know?" he asked, very much worried about the other boy's expectations.
Leo threw up his hands at the explanation about fire crabs. "Ok, understood." It was all well and good to hear Matheus speak like this, pretty much every day, because this particular 'topic' seemed to be always on his mind. But it was a completely different thing to hear him speculate about his size now when this whole situation was so bloody intimate and it made Leo shift in slight discomfort.
"Well, that's pretty much just as bad," he groaned. 'Brazilian beefcake', he repeated in his mind. He'd never thought that that phrase would ever be mentioned in connection with himself. He blushed just thinking about it. "Yeah, I remember that one..." he said, but actually wasn't paying attention. "I'll have to tell her before she hears about it..." he mumbled to himself.
Trying to get a grip on himself, Leo sat up straighter again. "So... about you teaching me..."
Post by MATHEUS DELGADO on Jul 8, 2019 13:11:58 GMT
"Do you think I wasn't an itty bitty virgin five years ago?" Matheus teased, but he quickly put a stop to it, shrugging. He didn't want Leo to get even more wound up, or spontaneously combust because ew, guts all over the place. "I dunno, man. You just kinda know. Like, you look in the mirror one day and think, 'man, I want someone to tap this arse.' You ask me or whoever you want and boom, done. Not a big deal even if people pretend it is."
Leo seemed to be exasperated over the whole firecrab business and man, this dude changed moods as fast as Matheus changed underwear... and he was a sweaty dude so that was, like, a lot.
"Who doesn't remember the rumour of me sleeping with her?" Cupping his hand to his lips, Matheus whispered loudly in a re-enactment of one person spreading gossip to another, "'Hey, did you hear that Matheus banged that chick at Hogsmeade in The Shrieking Shack?'"Then, pretending to be the person hearing the gossip, he adopted an expression of absolute shock with his left hand flying to rest over his heart. His pointer finger on his right hand wiggled all sassy-like as his voice climbed several octaves, imitating a teenage girl. "'Nah uh, no he didn't. That's disgusting, Mary.'"
With his little game of mimes and impersonations all over and done with, Matheus gave Leo his best expression of innocence like that had never ever happened in the first place. "About me teaching you? It's up to you. I'm down for a bit of hot snogging action any day."
Leo fixed his friend with a glare when he just kept going on about the virgin thing. It made him even more uncomfortable, but he was just about done with it now. But the way Matheus explained how he'd know what he wanted exactly, made him feel even more unexperienced. He had imagined scenes, that he had for sure. But he had never actually stopped to consider what he would do outside of his dream world. Adding to that was that Ryker didn't give him much response or incentive to make his fantasies go further than a snog or maybe a make-out session. "Guess I'll have to take your word for it," he finally admitted.
Despite all the tension he was feeling about the whole situation, Leo couldn't help but grin a bit at the scene Mat played about the rumour that had been rather persistent in their third year. The Gryffindor really wanted to ask if it actually had been just a rumour or if it had been true, but as Mat had only just imitated some excitable girls, he decided to rather not ask the question now, maybe another time. "That was a good one, yeah," he agreed instead.
Upon his questions, his prompt to finally get somewhere and do what he'd come here for, Matheus left it up to him and Leo decided in that moment that it was now or never. If he waited, he might yet lose his nerve. Without giving himself more time to doubt his decision, he turned to face the other and brought his lips to Matheus'. His hand went up to the other boy's shoulder, searching for something to hold on to, while he tried his best to mind the advise of 'no teeth'. Leo's eyes closed on their own accord as he tried to relax himself.

Leo was glaring at him but Matheus paid it no mind because the dude was the one to come to him, and he didn't think he was wrong in saying that virginity was no big deal. Losing it was a one time thing, then it was over and done with. Bing, bang, boom! "You should 'cause I definitely know what I'm talking about," he responded, though the way he was grinning definitely said the opposite.
After their first encounter, Matheus had never in a million years though that Leo would initiate the kiss yet here they were, Leo bringing their lips together and resting his hand on Matheus' shoulder. "Hope you're not planning a big gay freakout after this, man," he muttered against Leo's lips, before giving in and letting his own eyes shutter close. Matheus' lips moved against the other boy's slowly, his hand twining around Leo's lower back and drawing him closer.
It was only after a few moment of this gentle, soft kissing that Matheus took things a step further, deepening the kiss by darting his tongue out, licking at the seam of Leo's lips and, hopefully, into his mouth if he'd let him.
Leo felt Matheus' hand come around to draw him close and he worked hard on keeping his breathing even. It was strange to be so close to the other boy and even though he was the one who had initiated the kiss, he felt something like a pulling sensation in his stomach at the way Matheus took control immediately. Still selfconscious and unsure about if he was doing the right thing, he responded obediently, grateful for the guidance, when Matheus coaxed him to part his lips. This touch of the other boy's tongue was still unexpected, but Leo responded in turn, sliding his tongue alongside, making him taste the other. It tasted just like Matheus smelled, but in a way that made the smell and taste gather in the pit of his stomach - a strange experience that made him feel completely engulved by his dorm mate. Completely distracted by the way his head was starting to swim, his hand slipped from Matheus' shoulder, making him almost cling his biceps instead. After a few moments, Leo drew back, trying to catch his breath. He was breathing considerably harder than he had just a few minutes ago and still trying to figure out what he was actually doing. But despite the first shock the other day, he had to admit the way the kiss was making him feel now was quite nice actually.
Post by MATHEUS DELGADO on Jul 19, 2019 9:37:25 GMT
When Leo's lips were coaxed apart, Matheus' usual go to move of maneuvering himself to straddle the other person's lap or drawing them into his own was off the table because the last time he welcomed himself to Leo's lap, he made the other boy run away. He didn't want that to happen again, and so he settled for slipping his hand just beneath Leo's shirt to rest on his lower back, skin to skin. Merlin, he would kill to pull Leo's shirt off him right now, press up against him, feel the warmth radiating from Leo's body onto his own.
But before he could even suggest it, Leo broke away for air and Matheus was left lightly panting as he tried to catch his own breath for a moment. Then he leaned in to press a short, sweet kiss against Leo's mouth and drew away, nodding towards his bicep where Leo's hand rested. "I can flex it if you like. Give you a real show," he said with a cheeky grin and a wink for good measure.
Matheus' expression grew a bit more serious, however, as he withdrew his hand from beneath Leo's shirt to rest on the other boy's knee. "So... what's the verdict? You love it or hate it?"
Leo was caught off guard when he felt Matheus' hand slide underneath his shirt and touch his skin. He gasped into the kiss at the new sensation of how hot the other's hand felt, making him shudder slightly. It felt really good and Leo wondered, in the back of his preoccupied mind, if Matheus would want to show him more.
His head was clearing once he had put some distance between him and his friend, still deciding what he wanted to happen next. However, when he was called out on the place where his hand had slipped, he snatched it away quickly. "Don't ruin it, ok?" he pouted, a bit unsure if it had been the right thing to do.
He felt it immediately when Matheus removed his hand and Leo watched as the other placed it on his knee instead, waiting tensely what it would do. He only looked up when he was asked for his opinion. "It's... uhm... really nice actually," he admitted, probably blushing. There was no point in lying. It did make him feel good and he saw why people were so keen on doing it. Only it was probably different now, because he wasn't actually in love with Matheus. Would it feel better if he were?

The hot gasp that escaped Leo's lips and breathed against Matheus' own was enough to send a shiver down his spine because Merlin, yes. He wanted to make the Gryffindor boy feel like that more often, too... turned on, dare he say, to even think of holding in any of the sinful noises that traveled through his body.
Leo's hand was quickly moved away and Matheus returned Leo's pout with one of his own and a very exaggerated one at that, eyes widening as big as a puppy's too. "I'm offended you think my biceps will 'ruin' anything. Merlin, Leo, I guarantee you if I whip off my shirt, they'll make things a million times better. Almost as better as if you took off your own." Despite his melodramatics, Matheus' eyes twinkled. He was half-joking... but a shirtless Leo would be a sight to behold.
As Leo proclaimed it was 'really nice,' a grin as bright as a lightbulb broke out across Matheus' face because hell, yeah. That's what he liked to hear. "So you wanna do this again sometime?" he asked, drawing a circle onto Leo's knee with his thumb as he spoke.
