With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Lyra had some free time away from work, and from parenting because her parents took Cole in for her. While she had decided to go and have a day for herself. With her parents hopes that she might feel better, and be able to wine down, and not been worrying about Cole. She was thankful, and she thought the best thing would get something for lunch, and then do some shopping. Get Cole a present or something.
She knew Cole asked for quite a bit, and it wasn't easy for her to get him a gift. So she thought maybe today would be perfect. She had leftover money, and it would definitely be something worth spending her money on. But she was hungry, and she stopped in The Leaky Cauldron before she went out into Diagon Alley.
Walking over to a table, one of the waiters walked over and asked her what she wanted. "Could I have a salad, and a sparkling water." she sighed. Not wanting to get drunk or anything just yet. And knew she needed to be sober if she expected things to get better. So she sat at the table as she waited for her food. As she thought about various types of things. And had been very hungry and thought of what she'd get Cole, that she knew he needed.
Ava had free day from her work and she had gone to do some shopping at Diagon Alley for herself. She just needed to buy a few things from there. After many hours of shopping she felt her stomach make noises which meant it was time to get something to eat. This is how this young woman ended up at Leaky Couldron.
Awhile looking around the place she tried to find some empty seats where to sit. There was barely any left. So she walked over to someone who sitting alone, who happened to be in her own thoughts more likely.
"Hello," she said there to get her attention. "May I sit around your table or your waiting for someone?" she asked as polite she could. She figured she should be nice there and not sit down before it said it's okay.
Lyra was waiting for her food to come, and there was no lie that she felt her stomach rubbling. The woman had hoped that the food wouldn't take too long. But she could use the distraction. The witch sat back, but was soon interrupted by a woman. She let out a smile at the woman's words, "Of course you can. I don't mind at all, there is no one that I am expecting. So it's all yours, I'm Lyra, by the way." she said with a small smile.
"What brings you to Diagon Alley?" she asked kindly, hoping to make a friend.
Ava smiled when it was okay to sit down. "Thanks," she said awhile sitting down across the other woman. "I'm Ava," she decided to say her own name too. "It's nice to meet you, Lyra," she added as being polite. She just was mostly raised as that way. "Shopping made me come here and to this place because I felt like eating," the young woman answered to the question. "What about you?" she decided to ask back too. She wondered what she should order today as food and drink.
Lyra gave the other woman, a small smile. "Your welcome. I could use the company." she said with a smile. The witch loved to meet new people and make new friends, because you never knew who'd you meet. Her drink and food soon came and she smiled. "Thank you so much." she said as her food was set down. Taking a few bites of her salad, Lyra glanced up and she gave a smile, "That's a nice name, Ava." she said taking a sip of her water and she asked. "What do you do for a living, Ava?" she asked looking up from her food.
"It's nice to meet you too." she said taking a few more bites. Lyra thought the salad was definitely good, and she loved to eat healthy. She knew her mind was getting off track as she listened to Ava talk about what had brought her to Diagon Alley, "This place definitely serves good food, and I am here for the same reason." she smiled. The witch had wanted to get something for Cole, "I am doing some shopping for my son." she said with a smile.
Ava smiled and nodded her head, the company was always good thing, well most of the time. "Oh, that's good," she said with a small smile on her face. She waved to waitress to come to her and same time she looked at Lyra. "You have nice too, Lyra," she said to her and before she could answer where she worked the waitress came there. "Could I have salad and coffee with milk and no sugar," the woman said her ordered and the waitress left. She looked back at Lyra. "I work as healer in St. Mungos in the magical bugs department," she said finally. "What about you?" she asked back too.
Ava looked at the female awhile she listened her talk why she was here. She was bit taken back that she son already but then again so many young womans have kids early ages. "Yes the food here is always so good. My one of the favorite place," she said with a small smile on her face. At the times even Ava did eat healthy, she needed to keep her good figure. "Wow, you have son. How old is he?" the woman asked and smiled. She really was curious about. She herself didn't have any kids yet.
