With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

tanding in the Forbidden Forest, a cigarette poised between his lips and a flask clasped in his hand, Greyson was in his 'happy place.' Nobody had pissed him off and he was well on the way to becoming completely off-his-face drunk which he liked. It stopped him from thinking about sad shit, the type of crap that brought him once step closer to mounting a broom and flying himself into the Whomping Willow for good.
Taking a drag of his cigarette, Greyson exhaled a big puff of smoke before raising the flask to his lips once more and taking a great big swig. It maybe had a good quarter left, but that'd do him especially combined with the good third of whiskey he'd downed before even getting to the forest in the first place. He'd just swallowed a gulp of whiskey, however, when he heard the tell-tale crack of a branch. "Unless you're here for a good time, you can piss off!" he hollered at the person walking towards him.

he couldn't help but groan a bit as it seemed her dumbass best friend was just trying to make life difficult for her. News traveled fast about the spots that student tended to sneak off to, and she happened to be privy to some of her best friend, Grey and a few of his spots. She would've rather she caught him so she could get him out of trouble should anyone come across him. Of course, he didn't care, but at least she tried.
She half smirked at the boy as she approached," Yes, the big buzz kill," She joked as she took a seat, crossing her legs over. Of course, as much as she wanted to indulge, it would have to wait when there wasn't the possibility of a professor popping up. Yeah, he'd get in trouble, but Rosa? She'd have her ass handed to as the house prefect. She was usually the first to enjoy a body shot, but it would just have to wait til later. Of course, she gave him a friendly kiss with devilish grin as she looked at the bottle," So, its been that kind of night," She remarked, handing back the bottle.
"You good, Grey?" She genuinely gave a shit about him, purring in her soft italian accent as she held him at his hips. They may have flirt and acted like a couple idiots together half the time, but that didn't mean the tell-tale signs weren't there that he had some things he tended to keep from everyone else. She knew it all too well, given she did the same. She hated sharing feelings, save for others that she cared about. But her? She wasn't sure she was even capable of crying.

“You are a prefect now, Rosa. How much fun are you gonna stop me or anyone else from having?” Grey asked, mostly amused as he took a drag of his cigarette and reached over to daringly place his hand on her leg. Or course, she upped the stakes a moment later by kissing him. She had good lips, ones he'd gotten the goddamn pleasure of kissing in the past, and wouldn't mind snogging again. Plus her being hot as hell was a bonus. “Nah, m'just having fun. This place is so boring as all shit ‘specially now Graham Avery has blessed us by becoming a Professor. What a hero, right?” Wrong. Greyson couldn't be any more pissed off about the whole thing. He knew Graham had just taken up teaching to spy on him and to make sure he behaved. Fat chance that'd happen.
When Rosa asked if he was good, he shrugged his shoulders loosely. He was in his happy place, right? Talking about his feelings killed that and he wanted to ride this buzz instead.”Yeah, it's all good. What's up with you and Bianchi? Saw him yell at you in defense… you slapped the git, right?” He hoped so. Even if he wasn't there, the thought of anybody being on the bad end of Rosa's palm made him snort in amusement.

"Oh honey, " She replied, catching her best friend's chin with a grin, " If I really wanted to keep you out of trouble, I know exactly how to keep your attention, " Of course, they both knew the pair of them could have fun without alcohol... Thought, it was always way more fun drunk. She left his hand, given she was pretty much used to how handsy the pair was. She rubbed his shoulders as two sat talking with one another. That was the beauty she found in one of her very few actual friendships.
She practically rolled her eyes to the back of her head as he mentioned his Graham, " Just tell him what he wants to hear. Feed him some bullshit about studying with me. Of course, he'll know you're lying about studying, but you know there are worst things than hanging out with me." like listening to his professor family member lecture him in vain.
"We're complicated, " She replied back, " Normally, that would be my reaction when the opportunity presented itself, but... Damn. I don't know. We hashed it out, snapped, then he kissed me and ran. I seriously don't fucking know." She shrugged a bit. Clearly, her feelings were distracting her when it came to Felix.

rey's eyebrows raised as Rosa caught his chin with her fingers and immediately, he was smirking. "You're such a tease, Capone. Don't say stuff you don't plan carrying through on," he returned. For other people, flirting between two best friend's might have been a big no-no but for them, it was normal. She was hot, he was hot, it was only natural. "What are you doing in forest anyway?"
"Yeah, he won't buy into it for a minute but maybe it'll keep the prat off my back," Greyson said with a snort and a shake of his head. "Y'know he wants us to call him Professor Avery in class? Screw that noise. Little ol' Graham is being called just that. Not Professor. Man, if you weren't a prefect now I'd get you to help me with rioting in his class."
"He kissed you and ran? Loser shouldn't call himself a Gryffindor if he's doing that. What a bitch move," Greyson said, eyes immediately rolling. Seriously, who did that? Only little cowards. "So you two talk again, or leave it be?" He hoped Rosa had high enough standards not to try and date some bloke who literally ran away after kissing her. She deserved someone better, someone who was stronger that that.
She smirked, rolling her eyes playfully as he made some smartass remark back about her being a tease as she stood up, strattling his lap, " There. Distracted and content, " She grinned, resting her arms behind his neck. It was no wonder that any time she had grown close to anyone it hardly lasted-- she adored Greyson, and wouldn't cut off her friendship with him despite the objections of her exs. It was a common assumption she was like this during her relationships. While he was always playfully tempting, she was loyal. But, jealousy tended to keep the boys at bay and, frankly, if anyone couldn't accept the Grey was her other half, then she didn't need them.
"Oh well, " She shrugged, figuring the boy could've cared less about the professor's happiness with his decisions, but less of a headache was always welcome. In a way, it even helped her. When he wasn't on Grey's case, she could have fun with him. Maybe that was a selfish thought, but she liked when he wasn't distracted by stupid shit and pointless people. She sighed wistfully, missing those days, but keeping face with the school and out of public trouble was what she needed to do. It looked good, and she needed to behave for the sake of her family and her future.
"Right?! He pinned me to the tree... Which in the moment was hot, but then be ran, " She furrowed her brows as a small huff escaped her. She was turned down! She couldn't believe he kissed her and just left. The audacity! However, as scorned as she felt, she knew Felix. Something was up... "At the very least I'll give him a piece of my mind tomorrow. Maybe talk. Maybe slap the hell out of him. Maybe both. Depends on my mood." She rolled her shoulders a bit as she rolled her eyes at the idea, " Yes, I'm an idiot. I'll likely talk to him, " He wasn't stupid. She wouldn't lie to him, " If anything, he'll tell me what the hell is going on or ill move on to something less of a headache..." she didn't like the idea, but she didn't show it.

aving sat moments beforehand, Greyson was all hands as Rosa sauntered towards him and straddled his lap, pulling her nice and close towards him. "But I'm still not distracted. Guess just sitting on me didn't work," he told her, leaning back as he took another drag of his cigarette and turning his head as he breathed the consequent smoke out. Then smirking, he said, "Maybe if you took your top off, I'd be more distracted. Sounds like a good plan, aye?"
"Surprised the little twig could pin you anywhere," Greyson said, snorting in amusement at the thought. It was probably ironic, considering how thin he was himself, but an amusing thought nonetheless. "You know what my vote is... should punch the little twerp instead. Punch him all the way into Hufflepuff where he belongs. Maybe they'd be a spare bed in Gabe's dorm."
"Well, hope it works out. If he's being a stubborn little prick, I'll sort him out for you," Greyson said with a shrug. He wouldn't mind having a punch up sometime soon, but all these damn students were such goody goodies that they wouldn't dare in case they got caught by a Big Bad Professor.

"Now, now, Grey, " She purred playfully in her Italian accent, running her hands up the back of his shirt, her delicate fingers barely grazing his skin.. Just enough to send goosebumps down anyone's spine really. Her gaze was a bit suggestive, but, it was what it was. She knew better than to get caught, but, she was the prefect after all. Maybe not the most well behaved of the perfect by any means, but she certainly could be been worse... In fact, she had been on many occasions. She sent her nails down his back as she bit at his lower lip with a smirk. She always was a glutton for attention-- particularly her best friend's.
"What is that phrase... 'The post calling the kettle black'?" she smirked a bit, knowing damn well neither was exactly the epitome of bulk. However, both of them were... Undeniably savory. "I'm not surprised that's where your vote would fall, amore mio. Which is exactly why we're friends, " She laughed gently shaking her head. He was just as hot-headed as she was, thankfully, so she never had to worry about him judging her darker tendencies when they came to light. While she'd grown a lot since her first couple years, she never could completely extinguish that fire in her eyes and her personality.
At times, Grey could be Unintentionally. Sticking up for people wasn't his forte, he just Jumped into fights because why the hell not? But having him offer to keep the other boy straight and narrow for her garnered a bit of a genuine smile, " You will be the first to know if I'm in need of your... Special set of skills, " She grinned a bit, " Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but, with my luck that would be some form of cosmic karma for all the boys I've broken, " She shrugged. Yeah she didn't keep them long. Just long enough to keep her entertained, but none of them could've handled her attitude long term. Grey... Definitely. Felix... Hopefully. Everyone else? Not a chance.

osa's accent was damn sexy, and Greyson made sure to show his appreciation with a groan, one arm wrapping around her waist and drawing her closer to the warmth of his body. It wasn't the first time they'd ended up like this, and he hoped it wouldn't be the last as he leaned in a few inches from her face, eyes dropping down to her lips before he smirked. "You game, Capone, or too chicken to take what you want from me?"
Then the 'pot calling the kettle black' was said and Greyson snorted, shaking his head. He may have been scrawny, but he definitely do a better job taking control than Avery would. If they were standing, Rosa would have been pinned against a tree by himself right now, one of his hands ambitiously snaking it's way up her shirt. He wouldn't run away from a beautiful girl like some coward, especially not his best mate of all people, the one person he appreciated more than anyone in the whole damn world.
"Just the truth, you know. Dickwit deserves it," he said, shrugging a moment later as Rosa said she'd let him know if his skills were needed. He hoped they were, he was itching to get into a fight. Maybe he could pick one with a unsuspecting Hufflepuff tomorrow... though it'd probably land him in detention. "Oi, d'you know there's some fourth year losers throwing a party this weekend? Should go, don't you reckon? Mess that shit up a little. Show them what a real party is."

Grey always knew how to get her attention, just as much as she did. He knew he could challenge her, and she knew she could drive him wild with her teasing. They always had an imbalance in their lives, that while their friendship was unconventional and risky, it was perfect. She closed her eyes a bit as she grinned, listening to the boy's fighting words. "Please, Grey. I think we both know I'm not scared of you or what you could do. Are you?" She retorted with a smirk. She had no problems taking control. Hell, she was always the one taking control when it came to a lot of things. Especially sleeping with someone. However, she did love that Grey wasn't delicate or submissive to her.
She laughed A bit with the boy, smirking as her hand went to the boy's chest, playing with the buttons of his uniform. "It's good to know you have my back. And of course, you should know, I'll fuck up anyone who gives you grief. Male or female, " Honestly, she would've probably lost her prefect position before she let anyone mess with Grey. As much a selfish bitch as she could be at times, she loved Grey to pieces. Literally, she would spoil that boy everyday if she had the time.
"Which ones?" She asked curiously, " I mean. Some of them are kind of attractive. But either way, if Felix doesn't get his shit together, you know who I'm leaving with, " She winked playfully, " Now, as much as I love chatting with you, caro amico, I think we could be doing something much better with our time, " She grinned.
osalia's words were enough to have Greyson's hand tightening on her waist because she got him, and she wasn't afraid to fight back. She was strong and not afraid to challenge him, and he liked that about her. That was why the two of them were best friends. They were always pushing each other. "I'm no bitch. I'm not afraid to get what I want." Reaching up with his free hand, he knitted it into the hair at the nape of her neck, pulling her close as he crashed his lips onto hers, kiss scorching hot and unforgiving. Hopefully she'd give him back as good as she got.
"I believe it," Grey said with a gruff chuckle. She was a spitfire, and unafraid. She'd fight anyone who got in her way, that he was sure of. He'd seen her do it, in fact. It was amusing as hell... hot, too. He'd definitely watch her rip into someone time and time again. "Hell hath no fury like a Capone scorned, right?"
"Uh... that little snake chick. Veela, I think? Then her dumb Ravenclaw friend, Viola. Veela's hot, but guess she's bound to be. Oh, and the Tyrell chick. There's a shit ton of them but Ravenclaw, long hair, kinda looks like a discount version of you," Grey said with a shrug. He wasn't into any of them, they definitely weren't his type. Too... good and pure.
His lips twisted in a smirk at her next words because something much better. Hell yeah. "I can think of a couple of things," he said, lips twisting in a smirk before deciding to put a couple of things into practice.
