With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!
Corrine was slightly bored staying in her room. She looked through her cup board to find her stock of dark chocolates. She found that it was empty much to her surprise. She frowned at that, she loved to eat then when she was bored and these days she had began to eat it to distract her and she even gave out a few pf them to little children who have been visiting the hospital and also to the in-patients after the attack. No wonder that her cup board was now empty. She sighed and thought 'a trip to honeydukes is due'.
[break][break]Ever since she has accepted the role as a healer in St.Mungos, her dresses have been cut down to those which match her lime green robes which meant it would be mostly black or other dark colors. And Cor never likes to roam around in dark colors unless it was blue. And that why she always kept a dress in her office desk, if at all she felt like wearing something comfy. She immediately changed her dress with thee wave of her wand and slipped into a comfy teal color dress. She gave a once over in the mirror and walked out of St.Mungos and decided to apparate to hogsmeade from one of the back alleys.
Corrine walked towards her favorite stop, the Honeydukes the moment she landed in Hogsmeade. As soon as she entered the shop, she could smell the sweet flavour in the air. She was just about to step further inside when someone bumped into her from behind, probably they walked in through the door. She should not have stood in the middle. She quickly stepped a bit forward and turned towards the new person who entered and apologised "I am sorry". She hoped that the other person would not mind too much.

in the midst of life, we are in death
Leif heaved an annoyed sigh as he stepped into the hospital. Leave it to one of his brothers to do something completely irresponsible and land himself in the hospital. He'd be fine, eventually, but it was still annoying. That meant that he had to go to the hospital. He had to talk to....people. Leif wasn't very social on the best of days. Still, it could be worse. At least he was visiting his idiot brother at the hospital instead of at the morgue.
When Alek demanded candy he was the first to volunteer to go, rushing out as quickly as he possibly could. He didn't think to ask what his brother wanted. In retrospect he probably didn't need to. In Leif's opinion, his brothers were all cockroaches. They'd eat just about anything.
Leif's arms were loaded with candy when someone bumped into him. HIs precariously balanced load of sweets spilled onto the ground and he looked down at them for a few seconds, utterly exhausted by the mess. He heaved a sign before bending down to pick up his things. "It's fine." And it was fine. He wasn't mad or annoyed or anything. It was just another thing. "Is any of this yours or..." he asked. "I was just grabbing everything. My brother doesn't exactly care about what he eats so I just assumed everything would be acceptable...sorry, you probably don't want to hear about my brother. He's...a handful." The way Leif talked about his brother implied that his brother was younger than him. Most people would think that, too, but Leif was actually the youngest in his family.
