With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?

Quirks and Habits:Night Owl - Gwyneth had always been a night owl ever since she was a young child, and would always be tired during the day. Usually she would find herself nose deep in a book that she wouldn’t know what time it was until the sun was breaking through the horizon. As an adult, she had learned to go to bed on time so she can be awake during the day to make sure she was in the right mindset to teach.
Flirtatious - Gwyneth had a history with boys and girls at Hogwarts when she was a young girl but had grown out of it when she reached her adulthood. She had been married to a muggleborn man, and had a child with him (Cassidy). After her husband’s murder, she had taken a year to grieve before she had moved on, but never had been able to hold down a relationship for long. Not really wanting her daughter to feel like she no longer loved her father.
Overachiever - Growing up, books were Gwyneth’s best friend and she would always find herself studying even when she wasn’t in school. She had always wanted to make her father proud, learning about all kinds of things (even the Dark Arts). She would often start reading on subjects that aren’t meant to be taught at the age she was in that moment. All she wanted was the perfect grades.
Food Lover - Gwyneth had always been a lover of food, and loves different spices whatsoever. She would often offer to make meals for many, and even willing to try new things with various food products.

history
Marriage & Birth Of Cassidy - During the second wizarding war, Gwyneth had started a secret relationship with a muggleborn man, ran off to get married and stay as far away from the war and the Avery family as possible. They had decided to live in the muggle world and Gwyn, always curious about the muggle world ever since she was a young child, learned to live as a muggle and loved it. To her, her pureblood status didn’t matter because everyone was considered equal in her mind. Love was love, and she hated that her family had frowned upon it but she was happy.
In 2003, she had given birth to her daughter (an only child), Cassidy Mason. It was the biggest day of her life (besides the day she got married), and to this day her daughter is her whole world, and nothing can mess with it.
Murder of Her Husband - Gwyneth’s life had turned from happy, to a disaster in a matter of minutes back in 2010. Not having been in contact with some of her family since she had run off, she was surprised that her older brother had found her and her family. Even though she wanted to protect both her husband and daughter from her crazed brother, she had grabbed onto her young daughter as her husband tried to kick the older, yet stronger man out. The moment she saw the wand raised at her husband, she knew her life was over. Her husband was killed by the killing curse, and castor, was the man that she had feared for many years afterward but had learned to forgive in recent years.
Even though she had moved on from the murder a few years later, she would never take off her wedding band. It was probably why most her relationships didn’t last because she hadn’t truly moved on.
Teaching At Hogwarts - After two years of grieving, Gwyn had made her comeback to the wizarding world, wanting to support her daughter in anyway that she can and had gotten a job at Hogwarts as the Ancient Runes professor. Even though it was quite a few years since she had stopped being involved with the wizarding world, she had never given up on her studies and even had the perfect grades to teach in the subject she aimed to teach. From there on, she had taught the subject and had recently became the Head of her former house, Ravenclaw.

Especially Mavican. Yes, Mavican Jones. The one person Casey didn't expect to actually like or feel anything for but it was there, and she hated it. She was still discovering on who she was, and knew that yes, she liked girls and never told anyone. Not even her best friend or even her brothers. No one knew, and sometimes she would find herself staring at the sixth year. She was surprised she wasn't even caught with it, and if she were, she'd just brush it off and say it was nothing. Nothing was bugging her. Casey did have the habit of staring into the distance for a little while. Which had just happened when she was flying, and ended up getting smacked by the Quaffle upside the head. It had made her wipe out, and now she was heading back to the dorm, limping and refusing to go to the Hospital Wing.
Why would someone toss the Quaffle at Casey? She had no idea. She was the seeker on the team, but for some reason she couldn't focus. Mavican wasn't the only distraction happening. The fact her parents had divorced over the summer was also flooding in her mind, and how her father had grunted when he packed up his bags and moved out of the house. Twenty-eight years of marriage down the loo because he wouldn't stop bullying his only daughter.
A sigh had left the short haired female as she slowly made her way into the dorm, biting down onto her lip. Maybe she should have went to the Hospital Wing, but lying down in her bunk wouldn't hurt her she figured.
She was embarrassed as it is. Last thing she needed was for the healer to find the bruise in a not so happy place. <p>
There was a happy groan as she took off her robes, tossing them on her trunk and ended up smacking her knee on said trunk. "OW! Son of a..."
