With the capture of Verandi Farley and several high-ranking Trossach members, the British wizarding world has finally caught a break. The rate of rogue werewolf attacks have started dropping at a steady rate and, hopefully, things will stay that way. The Ministry is starting to loosen some restrictions, like not arresting werewolves standing on the street for loitering, however there’s still an obvious power imbalance between wizardfolk and werewolves.
The Cotswolds pack are continuing to advocate for the rights of werewolves and petitioning to change the legislation that has been set in motion by the current Minister for Magic, whilst the remaining Trossachs members are trying to stay out of the spotlight and keep a low profile… for now.
Whilst the British wizarding world seems to have calmed down, the same cannot be said for over in Northern Europe where a rebellion of magical creatures has risen. The state of things has gotten so bad that the European Ministry has enacted protocols to protect those under eighteen whilst their adult witches and wizards fight to keep control of their countries.
Students from Durmstrang have been sent to Hogwarts to keep them safe and those not old enough to attend school have been sent to live with relatives or designated British Ministry officials outside of Europe for the time being.
Will the low rates of werewolf attacks in Britain continue? How long will Durmstrang students stay at Hogwarts? Will the creatures usurp the wizardfolk in Northern Europe? Only time will tell.
SEPTEMBER 2019 It's been a very long, eventful summer in the wizarding world. A baby was stolen, several high ranking Trossach members were imprisoned, and werewolf attacks have drastically dropped as a result. What will happen now school has returned?
MAY 2019 An attempt to capture the beta of the Trossachs has been launched. Were the Aurors successful in their mission? Go read more here!

It was evening but there were still some time left before curfew. Most students had entered their common rooms already. Nicolas hadn't. This Ravenclaw student was stuck outside his mind couldn't focus on the riddle. So he stood there, red faced and stuttering. This was unusual, the riddles were never a problem for him. But now all he could think of was what he just witnessed. The image was imprinted on his brain. His head was like a tomato with curls on it.
They looked tear dropped and were smooth. One slightly bigger than the other. Nicolas would have kept staring if not for the hand which reached out to touch them. Said hand was attached to his brother. What was an intense view turned into something gross. It would forever haunt him.
The portrait once more said: "A man rode out of town on Sunday, he stayed a whole night at a hotel and rode back to town the next day on Sunday. How is this possible?"
But all Nico could think of were the boobies he now had seen for the first time in his life. Only to have the beautiful sight ruined by something gross. Boobies probably wasn't the answer.
Then someone else came towards the portrait. Nicolas turned and saw a friendly face. "Vi!" He cried out and wrapped his arms around her right arm. "The portrait is mean. I can't get in," he mumbled as he buried his face in her shoulder VIOLA ROSALINE

As Vi walked back to the Ravenclaw tower, there was most definitely a skip in her step because Merlin's beard, she had nothing to be sad about. Life was going swimmingly, she'd started putting plans into motions for a great big party that she had planned, and she was making great progress on the big painting she had stashed away in her dorm room. All was well!
That was, until she drew closer to the common room entry and she spied lil' ol' Nicolas Delgado, doing his very best impersonation of a distraught tomato.... or, well, what imagined a distraught tomato would look like. "Nico!" she called out, forehead crinkled in concern. "What's wron -" but then he was burying his head into her shoulder, complaining that the eagle knocker on the door was mean and he couldn't get in.
"Oh, I'm absolute pants at those silly little puzzles - no offence! - but I can never get it right. Usually I have to wait for the next person," Vi admitted, although she didn't look terribly embarrassed by the fact. She was quite open about not being the cleverest tool in the common room... not that she had to tell anyone. She was quite certain that upon her appearance, people made the assumption that she was a dumb blonde. "Why can't you answer it? What's on your mind, Nico?"

“Vi, I’m so glad you’re here. You’re a lifesaver,” the curly haired boy cried and cuddled his friend. Nicolas was so happy to see his friend. He’d be safe at last. He required a long hot shower and blankets to cover his eyes from what he had seen. Hopefully he wouldn’t have nightmares. Maybe he could chat with Viola her funny stories were a great distraction.
His face fell when Viola told him she didn’t know how it worked. “Vi, that’s bad. You shouldn’t have to rely on other people to get to the common,” he told her in a worried tone. His big teary eyes looked up and if it was possible his head turned even redder when Viola asked him why. “I-I-I, oh Merlin,” he gasped feeling very dizzy. The image of the beautiful bare breast being touched by his promiscuous brother popped up again. “I’m going to throw up,” he cried out and waved air towards his face.

Whilst Vi could accept that she wasn't the sharpest pencil in the pencil case, she had to admit that it stung that Nicolas was telling her that the fact that she couldn't get into the common room was bad, that she shouldn't rely on other people. What else was she supposed to do? She couldn't solve a riddle, she'd tried for years. She couldn't make herself smarter than she was. "You're relying on me to get you into the common room," she said quietly, moving backwards and away from his touch entirely. "You rely on me for a lot of things."
Instead of playing the role of the caring friend, one that immediately leaped to help Nicolas through whichever troubles he was facing that day, the one that wiped his tears and consoled him, Vi leaned against the wall instead and watched. She'd accio a bag for him, but he shouldn't have to rely on her to do that for him. He was a big boy, he could do it himself. "Okay," she said simply, arms moving to fold across her chest. "Well, I guess you're stuck waiting for the next person to come by and let you into the common room since I'm useless. Did you want me to wait around or...?"
